Santa Catalina Monastery

We spent the afternoon at the Santa Catalina Monestary in downtown Arequipa. It's one of the biggest tourist attractions as it's 433 years old and it's a massive labyrinth of courtyards full of flowers, and brightly painted, winding corridors. The colors were ridiculous. Ultimately, it was a fun place to take pictures although narrowing the shots down to the following was painstaking. Click to enlarge:

  1. Yes! It was really cool checking this place out with you guys yesterday. Although, I've seen enough nun's bedpans and trinkets for this lifetime.
