Rising Moon Time Lapse

There were fireworks going off last night around midnight and I ran up to the roof to try and capture them. I unfortunately missed them but ended up with this picture of Orion low in the sky:

While I was shooting Orion I noticed a light slowly appearing behind El Misti. A bad moon rising:

I took a whole bunch of fixed pictures with increasing exposures, did some research, downloaded a plugin for aperture, and made my first attempt at a time-lapse video. It's short and looks like the moon is blowing up. The quality of the time lapse images are not as good as the photos themselves, so I'll have to work on it...
