The most incredible ceviche |
|
El Fayke Piurano |
We were recommended this place by the woman at the desk of our Hostal. She told us that it was incredible and the portions were very large so we need not order a plate for each of us. We were told that one small portion of ceviche (they had small, large and family size) would be enough for the two of us.
When we got there at 4 o'clock on Sunday, it was packed both downstairs and up. We had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. At this point, we had walked for hours and hadn't eaten lunch so we were starving. Thankfully the canchitas (large kernels of roasted and salted corn) were waiting for us.

Best scallop of my life |
We did not listen to the recommendation to get only one dish. We also ordered Arroz Con Mariscos. It came after we finished the ceviche and we were not hungry for it. However, it was so incredibly buttery and fishy and delicious, we managed to finish it.
