Huaca Pucllana Ruins

The Huaca Pucllana ruins are located in Lima, Peru. This is a clay pyramid that belonged to the Lima Culture which dates back to 200-700 AD.  These ruins are in a neighborhood of Lima called Miraflores, which is where we stayed and this was walking distance away from us, and not too far from the coast. Miraflores is one of the nicest areas of Lima as it is near the beautiful coastline (high atop a bluff a safe height above the danger of a tsunami) and is full of many high-rise expensive apartments. Quite the interesting contrast from an adobe-brick pyramid.
